These boots aren’t made for walking… they’re made to slay!

December 11, 2017

Though it’s been boot season for quite some time, the holidays certainly allow us to take our love for the cozy footwear to a different level. As I continue to embrace the cooler months of the year, I have partnered with ShoeDazzle to share with you guys my latest obsession in my boot game.

One of the many things I love about shopping on ShoeDazzle is that it is a one stop shop for everything you need: shoes, handbags, and apparel. They got it all! And just in time for the holidays, I had the opportunity to choose from a wide range of fall/winter booties, tall boots, and shooties – which to be honest, was quite overwhelming as I wanted it all – and inspiried by the NYFW runway and most recently the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, I ultimately decided to go for the Rosa Black style, an ultra feminine tight-high style completely laced-up from top to bottom. Whether is in the classy all-black or in a daring color (*cough, cough red), this incredibly sexy look it’s taking over the scene this season and it’s guaranteed to make a bold statement no matter where you elect to wear them.

However, though I looooove how sexy and feminine a good tall boot can make a girl feel, I must confess that I try to be very careful with the way I dress this type of footwear. At 5’4,” I happen to be in the shorter end of the spectrum, for which when wearing thigh-high boots (or anything above the knees for that matter) I recommend opting for short garments that allow you to show a bit of skin between the shoe and the fabric. This will create an optical illusion of a longer leg instead of reducing your size by awkwardly cutting your leg in half.

I know the winter isn’t fun for most, but there absolutely nothing we can do about it. So, take those lemons and learn to make lemonade to the tune of your favorite boots! Check out to find these and many other amazing shoes this boot season.
