A few weeks ago, I wore this beautiful floral dress to the wedding of a beloved friend. Throughout the night, I uploaded a few snaps on my Instagram Story which warranted many questions from a few of you regarding details on this dress. So, given your interest, I figured I’d take better pictures and share details on this beautiful vintage inspired look.
I got this little gem from ASOS as a back-up option to my original first pick (HERE), but upon receiving both dresses, I totally fell for the floral details and the defined waist frame. I wanted a pink dress as the color makes me feel feminine. Though I am not going to lie, I’m usually careful with this hue, since it can easily look a little childish and/or cheesy. Matter fact, when opting for pink, I usually lean towards blush-like tones, as I find this shade to be a more “grown-up” and elegant take on the stereotypical pink.
Though I don’t always succeed, I try my best to acquire pieces that I can repurpose and wear over and over again and the vintage feel of this dress lends itself exactly for that. Off-the shoulder statement neckline with a late 50s/early 60s vibe, this little number made me feel like the Dominican version of Betty Draper y no me daba por nadie!
